I know I talked about water yesterday, but as I was exercising this morning I realized I left something unsaid!
When you exercise, you sweat — and sweat is water leaving the body and dehydrating you. How do you compensate? A good rule of thumb is to weigh yourself before you exercise and weigh yourself when you get done exercising. In addition to staying hydrated while you are exercising, drink enough water to bring your weight back up to your pre-exercise point when you get done exercising. Then you know you have hydrated enough for what you lost and will be right on track for having success! And, no, that exercise water does NOT count towards your gallon+ of water I mentioned yesterday; it’s in addition to it!
