A great tip for those with children that are overweight: Help each other. Have the family keep track of what you eat individually along with the time of day and what is happening at the time for one week. Sit down together and analyze each others’ food journal. Don’t make it about them needing to lose weight, but about all of you needing to educate yourselves on how to live healthier. Give each other positive advice only. You teach your children how to not only get a handle on their issues, but help others too! You wind up looking forward to the positive insight and learn to be grateful for the support within your own family.
